OMNI-BE AWARE STUDENT is an Erasmus+ project focused on modernizing higher education by aligning curricula with labor market demands and helping students shape their own professional identities. Building on previous initiatives like BEAST and DYLMIC, this project expands the scope to include a wider range of disciplines and career directions—equipping both students and educators with the tools, methodologies, and resources needed to design individualized, future-proof learning pathways. At its core is the innovative course “I’m a Startup – I, Student & Entrepreneur”, which blends Design Thinking, business modeling, and 21st-century skills to empower students in both career planning and entrepreneurial thinking.

Project design

  • WP1: Job Position Canvanizing Body of Knowledge (JPC-BoK). Development of a practical methodology for modeling job positions and aligning them with academic programs using occupation canvases and stakeholder analysis.
  • WP2: Catalog of Career Canvases & Golden Reads. Creation of career profiles (canvases) linked to new academic disciplines, supported by curated reading lists to deepen student understanding of each profession.
  • WP3: 21st-Century Skills Catalog and Development Guides. Identification of key transversal skills and production of educator-friendly guides and tutorials to support skill integration into university teaching.
  • WP4: Expert Podcast Library. Production of interviews with professionals, offering students real-world insights into diverse industries and career trajectories.
  • WP5: OMNI-BEAST Academy – Training for Academic Staff. Design and implementation of a professional development program for university teachers focused on innovative teaching, entrepreneurship, and skills-based learning.
  • WP6: Course Development – “I’m a Startup – I, Student & Entrepreneur”. Design and delivery of a course that equips students with entrepreneurial tools to take ownership of their career paths and develop future-ready skills.
